Sec of State Rice to seek long term peace accord in the Middle East?
Hello.
Did she forget the war going on there.
And that Isreal is about to have a land invasion into Southern Lebanon.
Hmm. Shouldn't the peace talks started well before the bombings, esp. between Isreal and the rebels in South Lebanon.
Will she cruise in on the supertanker that was to named for her? Her true colors might show that way. Wonder what happened to the "Roadmap" that was gonna lead this part of the world to peace? Looks like Isreal was the only group that followed it and after giving up Gaza, I bet they wish they hadn't.
Course that might be the easiest way to get someone not tied to the oil industry in that office.

[/ QUOTE ] Naw, I'm way too honest and fair for that job. I just figured a supertanker with the person it was named after would be a juicy target, knocking her off with it. She did make the oil company change the name from Rice , though.
My dad was telling me something about her going over there to have talks about the ports and the use of them. But to be honest I don't know how this will all balance out since the U.S. declares its support of Israel. What is going to happen when and if Israel ever calls on the U.S. for help in fighting against these nations. I myself don't see the U.S. soldiers coming home soon and we are spread out so much as it is.
Besides, the Arab Nations will never have peace with the U.S.. The only peace we will see with them along with Israel will be false peace. They will get along for economic reasons but in their hearts they would fight along with any Nation if it meant seeing the U.S. fall.
